Hands Off: Boston
A few scenes from the Hands Off protest in Boston today. A friendly—though not to Trump—and enthusiastic crowd on a raw, chilly day with the promise of showers.
This was pretty early, before the crowd settled in and speeches at City Hall Plaza started. Earlier, people gathered on Boston Common, before marching to Government Center (as it’s called).
Another view:
Ed Markey, junior senator from Massachusetts, gave a stemwinding speech from the stage at center right.
And here’s your faithful reporter, earlier, at Boston Common
(You’ll notice it was chilly enough that I kept my gloves on.)
The police estimated the crowd at 30,000 people. It filled the huge Government Center Plaza.

Great report. 30,000!
Fabulous. I was at the rally in Malibu. 1000 people turned out and the main road into Malibu is still closed due to the wildfires!
